America’s Energy Coast is an initiative that brings together the four Gulf Coast energy producing states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama as they forge a four-state sustainability accord, identifying and calling for actions needed to sustain energy production in the Gulf of Mexico in an environmentally sound coastal landscape, protecting the communities, work force, and national assets necessary to support this federal activity. Resulting actions from the accord will seek to put in place best practices, technology and solutions, and policy that will ensure a sustainable future for this area so vital to America’s energy and economic future.
The America’s Energy Coast project has several facets, the America’s Energy Coast Honorary Leadership Council, America’s Energy Coast Industry Council, the America’s Energy Coast Leadership Forums, Public Service Announcements and the Coast Guardians.
